FOUNDER
English Uplift (EUP) was founded by Dr Dung Tong who is passionate about language learning and teaching, especially in English language. Dr Tong is originally from Hanoi, Vietnam. As a passionate English learner herself, she got a BA in Applied Linguistics from Hanoi University. She started teaching English in 2000 and went on to get MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) 4 years later from Vietnam National University. She moved to England to pursuit PhD in Education from the University of York and was warded the reputable degree in 2012. Since then, she has been teaching English online from UK to students from different countries such as Australia, Japan and Vietnam, etc. With almost 20 years experience in the field of teaching, Dr Dung Tong would like to share with you the proven system that helps her students achieve their results. What I achieve today, to be able to attend my dream university, is largely thanks to Ms Dung and her incredible English lessons. Tôi là phụ huynh đã cho con học tiếng Anh online với cô Dung từ cách đây cả chục năm rồi, thời đó mọi người chưa quen thuộc với việc học từ xa. Do hoàn cảnh cô ở nước ngoài nên muốn học cũng không có cách nào nhưng không ngờ việc học lại diễn ra suôn sẻ và chất lượng như vậy. Sau vài năm cháu học online hàng tuần, trước khi thi IELTS năm 2015 cháu đã học cấp tốc 3 tuần IELTS để thi và đạt 6.5 trước khi đi du học năm lớp 9. My daughter started learning English online with Ms Dung about ten years ago when distance learning was not yet as popular as today. At the time, it seemed like the only choice for us to learn with Ms Dung as she was living abroad. However, the learning process worked out so well with great quality. After a few years having weekly online lessons with Ms Dung, my daughter also did an intensive IELTS course 3 weeks before she took the test in 2005 and she got 6.5 overall which qualified her to study abroad at Year 9. I have since recommended Ms Dung to friends and other students I know. Everyone was happy with their results.
